HELP FIND A CURE FOR PARALYSIS.

Right now, there are some 250,000 paralyzed people living in the United States. And each year, there will be nearly 11,000 more.
Twenty-six year old Dwight Boeckman of Okeene, Oklahoma is one of them. He suffered a spinal cord injury in July of 2000 during a diving accident at Canton Lake. He's been paralyzed from the chest down-ever since.

The Dwight Boeckman Music Festival is held every year in his honor. It was originally created to help Dwight and his family with medical expenses. But after years of continuing success the focus of the event has changed. It's now geared towards helping others.

Proceeds from this year's benefit will go to both The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation and The Miami Project -a paralysis research facility in Florida Dwight attended. The purpose is to financially assist these organizations...the hope is to eventually find a cure should you or your loved one ever need it. Proceeds have also been used to help the Oklahoma State University Wheel Chair Basketball Program.

Dwight wants to keep some of the money here in Oklahoma...to help LOCAL families forever changed by a traumatic injury. He sees it, as a way of giving back to the community that has been so generous to him. That's why Dwight has also established the "Challenge of Life" scholarship to be awarded to a deserving high school senior.

But none of this would be possible without YOUR support. The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, The Miami Project, The Dwight Boeckman Foundation and all those suffering from paralysis would like to thank you in advance for your donation. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Help make this year's festival the biggest and best ever!!! We hope to see you there.
